Tools > Options > User Information - Complete the User Information screen and click OK.
Click Tools > Track Changes > Highlight Changes
Select Track changes while editing and Highlight changes on screen. Highlight changes in printed document is optional; you will want to turn this option off when you print your final document. Clicking Options will allow the author to change the colors and line options used for screen display.
The Status Bar has an Track Changes indicator
; when TRK is black, track changes are turned on. You can right click the TRK indicator to access all of the Track Changes options available in the Tools menu.
Click View > Toolbars > Reviewing
When text is deleted from a document it will appear red with strikethrough.
When you hover your mouse over the deleted text a popup will appear with the author, deletion time, and the action.
Inserted text will also be red, but it will be underlined.
If you do not like to view the track changes while you are working, click Tools > Track Changes > Highlight Changes and uncheck Highlight changes on screen.

Accepting or Rejecting Changes
Click Tools > Track Changes > Accept or Reject Changes. Click Find
, review the change and either click Accept or Reject. Alternatively you can accept or reject all changes by clicking Accept all or Reject All.
Place the cursor where you want to insert the comment and on the revisions toolbar click the Insert Comment icon
or click Insert > Comment from the menu. The Comment pane will appear; type the comment.
Click Close after typing the comment.
A comment indicator will be added where the comment was inserted. The text will be yellow and have a comment number
. Hover your mouse over the comment to display a popup box that contains the comment text.
You can edit or delete a comment by right clicking the comment and selecting Edit Comment or Delete Comment.
Comments can also be viewed via the Reviewing toolbar
by clicking the next comment or previous comment button.
Printing CommentsClick Tools > Options > Print and check Comments.
You can easily save multiple versions of a document. Click File > Versions and click Save Now.
Type the desired comments and click OK.
If necessary, give the document a name and click Save.
To access the different versions of a document, click File > Versions.
Select the desired version and click Open.
Click the Highlight drop down arrow and select the desired highlight color. Drag the cursor over the text that you want to highlight.
